Nokia Lumia 925: the prize of SW winners, thanks to ISMB


Thanks to the sponsorship of Istituto Superiore Mario Boella the winning team of the Startup Wekeend Torino October 2013 will win a Nokia Lumia 925.

Istituto Superiore Mario Boella (ISMB) is a research & innovation center operating in the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) domain. Founded in 2000 by Compagnia di San Paolo and Politecnico di Torino, today ISMB relies on the technological and process competences of around 150 researchers working in close cooperation with companies, academia and Public Administration.

In the jury of SUW Torino 2013 there will be Michele Osella. Michele is the Head of the Business Model & Policy Innovation Unit at Istituto Superiore Mario Boella, being in charge of a multidisciplinary research team studying economic, social and policy implications of ICTs. In the academic sphere, he is PhD Candidate and Adjunct Lecturer in Innovation Management at the Polytechnic of Turin. Since the early days of his career, he has always had a keen penchant for groundbreaking business models. Leveraging the business model culture, he has recently dipped his toes into the waters of social innovation and social entrepreneurship in an attempt to combine the quest for economic growth with the creation of value for society at large.
